Have your say! The new annual School Engagement Survey is launching mid-November, and you will have the opportunity to reflect on your experiences at the school as a parent or guardian and provide feedback.
Your feedback will be valuable to help us understand how to better support your child and improve our school.
The new survey has been developed with the support of JWS Research. It will take around 10-15 minutes to complete, and your responses will be kept completely confidential and only reported at an aggregate level.
You can expect the 2025 School Engagement Survey to be distributed through Compass as a News Item and push notification in the coming days! If you have any issues accessing the survey link, please contact the Catholic Education Office through Strategy.Survey@cg.catholic.edu.au
Held annually on the last Friday of October, Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest child safety education and awareness event.
This special day honours the memory of Daniel Morcombe and reinforces the vital message that keeping kids safe is a responsibility we all share—parents, carers, educators, businesses…the entire community.
Across Australia schools, early learning centres, and businesses and individuals to register and participate in Day for Daniel, helping to spread this crucial message and empower children with personal safety education.
Primary Students at Lumen Christi Catholic College are encouraged to wear something Red on Friday 31 October as part of the day.
Students will take part in lessons to learn about Child Safety.

On behalf of the parent community, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our teachers on World Teachers’ Day 2025. We thank you for the dedication, compassion, and faith you bring to your chosen profession each and every day. We are deeply appreciative of the many ways you serve our school community, often beyond what is seen within school hours and school walls. Today, we celebrate the light you bring to the classroom and the lasting difference you make in the lives of our kids. ...... |
Some students when gaining their license may look to purchase a used car for transportation.
It is recommending before buying a used vehicle, students should think about:
- what best suits your needs, lifestyle and budget
- whether you want to buy a used vehicle through a private sale, online, auction or dealership. Each option has pros and cons
- if you’re buying an electric vehicle, consider how and where you will charge the vehicle
- the total costs involved in buying a used vehicle. This includes registration, insurance, maintenance or repairs and interest on any loan.
To help support those students who may be looking to purchase a used car, feel free to direct them to our website – Buying a used car.
