Welcome Aidan Sherwell.
Aidan brings years of experience in leadership, small business, and financial accounting roles with the Bega Valley Shire Council, along with expertise in financial analysis, systems and taxation law, as well as contemporary accounting and regulatory processes
We wish Aidan all the best in his new position.
Congratulations to all our students on another busy term of learning, experiences and friendships. Reports will be released on Sentral on Thursday 25th September.
7-10 Interim Reports will provide a snapshot of academic learning, engagement, organisation and respectful attitudes. Our Parent-Student-Teacher Interviews in November are an opportunity to discuss your child's progress this term and consider some potential goals for 2026. Bookings for these can be made at the start of next term.
Our Year 12 Final Reports celebrate our wonderful Class of '25. Some students will receive Academic and Growth Mindset awards next week, but all our students have matured into wonderful young adults who have made Lumen a better place through their kindness, humour, leadership and sharing of their gifts and talents. We wish you all the very best for your HSC Exams and for the next chapter of your lives.
Our Year 11 students have made a great start to their examinations. Next term they will begin their HSC course. This is an opportune time for parents to speak to their child's class teachers at our PST Interviews, 5th November to ensure students understand ways to have a positive and productive final year.
As we approach the upcoming school holidays, we’d like to inform our community of an important update regarding College security.
To ensure the safety and protection of school property, security cameras across the school grounds will become active on 2 October. This measure is part of our ongoing commitment to maintaining a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors — even when the College is unoccupied.
This term, Lumen Christi students have been raising money for a variety of charities through fun and meaningful fundraisers. From bake sales and feast days to pyjama days and jersey days, every event has brought us closer together while supporting important causes.
Our tally for this term is:
Yr 12 Cake Stalls x 2 $1,458.45 to farewell gifts to the College - Altar linen
Bobberrer Feast Day $137.00 to Animal Welfare League
Monaroo Feast Day $140.05 to Social Justice Advocates
Baringa Feast Day $138.85 to Fred Hollows Foundation
Gudu Feast Day $83.20 to Australian Marine Conservation Society
Primary Pyjama/Disco $207.40 to Vinnies
Jersey/Sports colours $575.15 to Cancer Council
Egg n Bacon Rolls $319.27 to Pontevedra Orphanage, Philippines
A big thank you to all students and families for your generosity and enthusiasm — together, we’re proving that small actions can create a big impact!
