The HSC Trial Examinations Timetable has been published. Please ensure your child is aware of when and where their exams are and arrive at school by 9:00am so that they are ready assembled for the instructions and start time.
If they are unwell or unable to attend an exam due to misadventure, please contact the College so we can account for their whereabouts. They will need to complete a Summative Assessment Variation Form, which can be downloaded from the Assessment Booklet on Sentral.

Dear Parents and Caregivers,
We warmly invite you to join us for our upcoming Primary Assembly for Term2, 2025, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate student achievements and stay connected with our school community.
Our assembly this term will take place on:
- Wednesday, 25th June (Week 9)
The assembly will be held in the College Hall at 2:40 PM.
Your presence means a great deal to the students. When parents and caregivers attend school events, it helps build a stronger home-school connection and shows children that their efforts are valued. It also fosters a shared sense of pride and belonging.
We hope to see you there and thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community.
Warm regards,
Cristal Dinwoodie

Uniform swap and sell will be held from 3:00pm - 4:00pm on Wednesday, 25 June in Room 607 (in the Primary building directly across from the Front Office).
What's a Uniform Swap and Sell?
A uniform swap and sell is where pre-loved uniform items can be swapped, donated or purchased.
How does it work?
There are 3 ways you can participate:
- Swap a uniform item you own for another in our donated collection. For each item you bring in, you can swap it for any other uniform item at no cost.
- Purchase pre-loved items for cheap. If you're looking for extra items without swapping, you can purchase from our preloved collection for $5 per item (cash only).
- Donate items. For now we are setting a 3 item limit on donations (we may loosen this in future depending on how things go). Donations can be brought to the front office prior to the event.
All items you are swapping or donating MUST be clean and in good condition.
Proceeds of all purchases will go towards school fundraising activities. We plan to run 1-2 swaps per term, so if you can't make this one, keep an eye out for future events!

Dear Parents and Carers
Lumens College Photo days will be held on Tuesday, 29 July and Wednesday, 30 July 2025.
Orderings
Order envelopes will be sent home with your child on the last week of term. Please complete the form on the envelope, ensuring you provide your child’s name, PC/Year group and payment method. Envelopes are to be returned directly to the photographer on day of photos.
Orders can also be placed online at www.theschoolphotographer.com.au by using the unique id on your child's College envelope.
The College does not provide change for cash purchases of College photographs.
Uniform Requirements
Full College uniform (including blazer for Yrs 7-12 students) must be worn on BOTH Photo Days regardless of timetabled Sport/PDHPE classes.
Special Sporting Uniform requirements for students in various groups or those who have represented the College have now been waived. These students, will however, need to bring their PDPHPE/Sports uniform to school on both days.
More information ...
Please refer to your child’s order envelope or contact TSP directly on (02) 9674 9824, visit the TSP website or email enquires@theschoolphotopher.com.au
Dear Parents,
We are pleased that so many students nominate to represent the College in sports events. However, we are having an issue with students pulling out of teams at the last minute, leaving their team short. This impacts upon the ability of the teams to compete at their best, and there are obvious impacts on staff and staffing, when time and effort to organise teams, book buses and make arrangements become subject to change because teams have to be pulled at the last minute.
We are seeing an increase in students pulling out due to lack of commitment, so if a student signs up for a team, trials, and makes the team, but then decides to pull out, they may jeopardise their opportunities to represent the College in other sports events.
We understand that sometimes, students may not be able to follow through on their commitments due to family or other reasons. If this is the case, please contact the Sports Coordinator, Megan Hergenhan.
Yr 10 students will participate in 2 days of information sessions on Wednesday, 2 July and Thursday, 3 July. A website will soon be available with the subject offerings for next year.
There will be an Evening Expo on Wednesday, 23 July from 5:00pm-7:00pm for students in Yrs 8-10 where students and parents can speak directly to Heads of Faculty and subject teachers about the many subjects being offered.
