Fr George received a heartfelt round of applause and high fives from students as we farewelled him at the end of our Reconciliation Week Mass on Wednesday.
We thank him for spreading joy and goodwill in our community. He will celebrate students' First Reconciliation with us on Thursday evening before leading local parishioners in a European pilgrimage later this term. We wish him safe travels and all the very best as he begins his mission in Queanbeyan.
NSW Community Health will visit the College to provide Yr 7 vaccinations to students on 10 June 2025.
Please ensure consent for your child has been completed prior to the day. Consent for vaccinations is to be completed online via your Service NSW account, please see below flyer for further details. For parents who are unable to provide consent online, paper consent forms will be available at the Front Office.
Last Monday we celebrated a truly special Grandparents and Friends Day with our wonderful Primary students. We were proud to welcome our guests into the school to visit classrooms, play alongside our students and share in a beautiful morning tea filled with home baked treats. Thank you to everyone who joined us, it was a wonderful day.

An inspiring day at the Bega Circular Valley Community Workshop in Bega. Four Lumen students, Mrs Anna Cooke and Mr Shane Giles along with over 140 representatives from a wide range of sectors came together to workshop what the future of a Circular Bega Valley could look like. Bega Valley is working towards becoming the first regional circular valley in Australia. A circular economy is a system where materials never become waste and nature is regenerated, unlike our current linear system of take, make & throw away.
The workshop themes were Healthcare and Social Assistance, Arts, Music & Culture, Construction, Food and Nutrition, Education, Tourism, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Business. Our students were placed on tables to workshop these big themes and share their ideas with sectors in the community. Inspiring stuff from our youth leaders!

Yr 10 students will participate in 2 days of information sessions on Wednesday, 2 July and Thursday, 3 July. A website will soon be available with the subject offerings for next year.
There will be an Evening Expo on Wednesday, 23 July from 5:00pm-7:00pm for students in Yrs 8-10 where students and parents can speak directly to Heads of Faculty and subject teachers about the many subjects being offered.
We've put together a subject selection guide for parents, with simple tips to help you support your teens while they make a decision. For the parents guide information click here
High s Watching your child navigate subject selection can be both exciting and challenging. This pivotal moment in their academic journey carries real weight, even for students who feel confident about their future plans. studyworkgrow.com |
