Reminders
These dates may be subject to change at the discretion of the College. Any changes will be advised to parents and carers via Schoolzine.
We wish to inform you of an important timetable upgrade across our bus network that will take effect from Monday, 12 May. The changes aim to improve safety and travel efficiency for students, including reduced transfers and more balanced bus loads. A number of routes are affected, and we are requesting your assistance in sharing this information with families to ensure a smooth transition.
Key Benefits of the Changes:
- Reduced transfers: Many students will now enjoy more direct routes, meaning fewer bus changes and less waiting time.
- Improved safety: Fewer transfers mean more consistent travel and less movement between services.
- Balanced loading: Bus services have been restructured to reduce overcrowding and improve comfort.
As part of this upgrade, there will also be changes to some bus line-ups. We will provide further communication on these changes as soon as details are confirmed.
Important Communication to Parents:
We kindly ask the school to assist in notifying parents via your communication networks. A formal notification letter is being mailed to families with details of the changes, and it’s particularly important to highlight that some services will now be arriving earlier. We want to avoid any students missing their bus due to the new schedule.
In addition, we will be posting updates on our Facebook page, and we encourage families to follow us there to stay up to date with ongoing developments.
Affected Bus Services:
891
S305
S306
886
S344
S319
S320
S324
Please remind your child/ren of the following:
- Always tap on and off their bus card every time they travel.
- Do not punch holes in their bus passes – this renders the card invalid.
- ID card holders are available for purchase at the office for $4.50, with all profits donated to the schools Community Council.
We greatly appreciate your support in helping ensure a smooth transition and continued safe travel for all students. Should you have any questions or require further information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch Ph: 02 6495 6452
Kind regards
Jamie Klemm

These interviews will be in person. Please ignore the advice on the Sentral Booking that says these can be online. Bookings can be made on the Sentral Parent Portal up until 5.00pm on Monday, 12 May.
In Term 1, Yr 7 students were learning about Ancient Rome, the life of Jesus and First Nations cultures as part of their History and RE unit. They have created some amazing artefacts which will be on display at our PST Interviews. Each artefact will have a QR code which will take you to their researched information explaining each artefact's origin, purpose, value and limitations.
Most students have completed these snapshot tests and have done so with a positive mindset of trying their best and being respectful of others whilst doing so. We are getting those who were away to do the tests in the coming days so that we get a more accurate picture of our students' learning growth.
Results will be sent home next week showing your child's results on the day in relation to national benchmarks for the end of their current year level, as well as their growth from last year's tests. Primary results will be sent home by the class teacher. Secondary PAT Maths and PAT Reading results for Yr 8 will be sent on their Maths Google Classroom; Yr 9 on their English Google Classroom and Yr 10 on their HSIE Google Classroom.

Dear Parents and Caregivers
We warmly invite you to join us for our upcoming Primary Assemblies for Term2, 2025, a wonderful opportunity to celebrate student achievements and stay connected with our school community.
Our assemblies this term will take place on:
- Tuesday, 20th May (Week 4)
- Wednesday, 25th June (Week 9)
Both assemblies will be held in the College Hall at 2:40pm.
Your presence means a great deal to the students. When parents and caregivers attend school events, it helps build a stronger home-school connection and shows children that their efforts are valued. It also fosters a shared sense of pride and belonging.
We hope to see you there and thank you, as always, for your ongoing support and involvement in our school community.
Warm regards
Cristal Dinwoodie
Primary Pastoral Coordinator & Year 5 Teacher
Will be held from 3:00pm - 4:00pm on Tuesday, 13 May in Room 607 (in the Primary building directly across from the Front Office).
What's a Uniform Swap and Sell?
A uniform swap and sell is where pre-loved uniform items can be swapped, donated or purchased.
How does it work?
There are 3 ways you can participate:
- Swap a uniform item you own for another in our donated collection. For each item you bring in, you can swap it for any other uniform item at no cost.
- Purchase pre-loved items for cheap. If you're looking for extra items without swapping, you can purchase from our preloved collection for $5 per item (cash only).
- Donate items. For now we are setting a 3 item limit on donations (we may loosen this in future depending on how things go). Donations can be brought to the front office prior to the event.
All items you are swapping or donating MUST be clean and in good condition.
Proceeds of all purchases will go towards school fundraising activities. We plan to run 1-2 swaps per term, so if you can't make this one, keep an eye out for future events!
Available at LCCC Hat: Navy Bucket style $18.50 Cap: Navy House Colours $19.50 Socks: 3 Pack White $21.00 Socks: 3 Pack Navy $21.00 Scarf: Navy $17.50 |
Lowes Update:
There has been a delay with the Lowes blazer order. We are currently working closely with our supplier to expedite delivery and have the stock arrive as soon as possible. In the meantime, our stores are offering blazers from the buyback stock, which is available in limited sizes and is gradually depleting. To support students who need a blazer, our store staff have been advised to offer the next size up or down where possible.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time and will keep you updated as soon as we have confirmation on the arrival of the new stock.
