2025 Term 1 -
- Kindergarten Day 1 will be Tuesday, 4 February 2025. To assist with Kindergarten transition to school there will no classes on Wednesdays until Wednesday, 12 March 2025.
- Years 7,11-12 students return to school on Tuesday, 4 February 2025.
- Years 1-6 & 8-10 students return to school on Wednesday, 5 February 2025.
Calling 2024 Graduates! Apply for a 2025 Traineeship at Lumen
We are excited to announce three 2025 Traineeships designed for passionate graduates ready to make a positive impact within our school community. These traineeships provide an incredible opportunity to gain valuable experience, contribute to various programs, and support our students and staff.
Sports Administration Trainee: Focus on PDHPE with essential tasks like organising teams, coordinating travel, updating noticeboards and our website, and managing event permissions. You'll assist in planning primary and secondary carnivals, prepare newsletters, and liaise with accounts for uniform management. You'll also work closely with the Sports Coordinator for coaching and training sessions, help maintain equipment, and take a lead role in our sports events, camps, and lunchtime competitions.
Primary Trainee : Works with our wonderful primary staff in supporting all the great learning, assisting in organising and participating in all the wonderful events like camps, retreats, excursions, Grandparents Day, Orientation and Swimming program. You will also be part of the team helping students with specific needs.
Faculty Associate Trainee: Dive into diverse areas like Pastoral Care, Religious Education, Creative and Performing Arts (CaPA), Year 9 PBL, STEM, Primary, and Community Engagement. You'll support teachers with specific student needs, coordinate and assist in events like assemblies, graduations, music nights, and showcases, and play an active role in camps and retreats. You'll also assist with STEM projects and equipment management, making this a multifaceted role!

Exciting news.... We are also trialing new snack boxes, three options available these can be purchased over the counter from 8:30am or via Qkr online available for pick up recess. Please keep that mind if you have run out of time for breakfast in the morning.
Freshly baked cookies will be available twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $3 each - over the counters sales only - see the board for flavours.
Snack Box Options are:
Box 1 - Noodle Box - Choice of Chicken or Beef noodles, a piece of fresh fruit, museli bar and variety pack of chips.
Box 2 - Nippys Flavoured milk box - Choice of Strawberry or Chocolate, a piece of fresh fruit, museli bar and variety pack of chips.

- Chris Lawrence – former professional athlete, sharing his journey from sports to fitness entrepreneurship and the skills that drive success.
- Nathan Spencer – high-performance coach, outlining the pathways to working with elite athletes and teams.
- Dane Nikora – fitness expert, highlighting the role of mentorship and networking for career growth in health and fitness.
The event will also share information on how to apply for a Fitness SBAT with One Training in 2025.
