Dear Parents,
We are looking for students that would like to participate in some Nativity Play activities. The students would need to be available for the School Liturgy (December 13), Rotary Christmas Carols at Berrimbool (Evening of Dec. 13), and the Parish Christmas Eve Mass (Dec. 24 5:00pm). (The same play will be performed at each function.)
If your child would like to be involved, and is available for all of these dates, could you please complete the form attached and return it to the school. If you have any questions, please contact Damian Kennedy at the College on 6495 8888 or via email at damian.kennedy@cg.catholic.edu.au.
ADHD is a common but also widely misunderstood diagnosis. Our understanding of ADHD and how to support someone with ADHD is rapidly changing.
In order to help us better understand ADHD it can be helpful to start off busting some myths and understanding some facts.
The following myth vs fact information sheet was taken from: https://www.adhdaustralia.org.au/
To see the full document with more in depth information relating to each myth you can visit:
https://www.adhdaustralia.org.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/ADHD-Myths-Factsheet-1-Final.pdf
If you are interested in learning more about ADHD there are some great books and podcasts out there too.
Please feel free to get in touch if you’d like some suggestions.
Or if you know of some resources that have been helpful for you or your family we’d love to hear about those too!
