Year 11 and 12 Parent Student Teacher Interviews

When: Thursday, 20 June

Time: 3:40pm-5:00pm

Duration: 10 minute interviews

Booking period: Monday, 3 June 5:00pm - Monday 17 June 5:00pm

We are currently reviewing our reporting and interview processes.  Based on the number of last year’s bookings, the time of this year’s interviews is between 3:40pm-5:00pm.  

If you are unable to attend during this time, please contact the College on 64958888 and your child’s class teachers will make contact with you to discuss your child’s learning and progress.

In Week 10 this term, Year 10 students will spend Tuesday and Wednesday hearing about the many subjects on offer for senior studies at Lumen Christi and learning about the requirements of the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR).

Parents and students are invited to attend the Expo on Wednesday, 3 July from 5:30-7:00pm.  This is an opportunity to hear from Ingrid Thompson, our Careers Coordinator, about the various pathways available to students after school.  Heads of Faculty and class teachers will also provide information about the various subjects and discuss 1:1 with students the experiences and expectations of each course.

A website will be released shortly with general information about each course. 

Subject Selection for Stage 5 (Years 9 and 10 - 2025) will happen early next term.

Lumen Christi College uniforms will be available for purchasing from Saturday at Lowes, Bega (next to Woolworths in the Marketplace - open 7 days)!! See attached information.

Students currently in Years 10 and 11 are invited to apply for our 2025 Philippines Immersion trip.  From 2016-2019, students stayed with the Franciscan Sisters of St Anthony in Pontevedra during the January holidays for 2 weeks.  All those who have experienced the hospitality of Sr Rei and the Pontevedran community are inspired by their joy and generosity.

We are resuming this wonderful experience, with Mrs Antoinette Woods visiting the nuns in the next two weeks in order to help prepare for our renewed immersion trips in January 2025.  Checkout Facebook to follow her adventures.

A letter expressing the student's interest and reasons for applying needs to be delivered to the drop box by Friday 21st June.
