College Updates Term 1 Week 9 - 28 March 24
These dates may be subject to change at the discretion of the College and/or depending on COVID-19 restrictions. Any changes will be advised to parents and carers via Schoolzine.
In our Liturgy we recalled that we are all a part of God’s creation, forming the Kingdom of God. It is not a kingdom of buildings, or roads, armies or industry, but is a kingdom of people connected through everyday interactions, relationships, and sharing in the joys and problems of life. In the Kingdom of God, we look out for one another and conducting conversations and actions that lead to us living good lives, worthy of the gifts bestowed upon us by God the creator. In the Kingdom of God, we find the meaning of our lives expressed in love.
Things don’t always go our way, and sometimes we may find ourselves as Jesus on Good Friday, discouraged, isolated, lonely or in some way broken. Easter tells us that there is always light and hope. New life, rebirth, forgiveness remain the beating heart of Christian lifestyles. How could we possibly exist without these sustaining virtues?
Be the light of Christ.
Have a happy and Holy Easter
Shane Giles.
Dear Parents and Carers
We are currently negotiating supply of uniform with new providers, our intention is to have a new provider up and running in Term 2.
For the first 2 weeks of Term 2 there will be a transition period where students can wear either Summer or Winter uniform. During this transition, if your child has any uniform issues, please write a note or for Yrs 5 – 8, leave a message in their diary. Any items needed can be substituted with navy or white coloured clothing (no hoodies or logos).
Further advice will be forthcoming when arrangements are confirmed.
Students are also required to follow the College Uniform Policy and adhere to the rules. Please see reminder of the College Uniform Policy attached below.
