College Updates Term 1 Week 1 - 1/2/24

These dates may be subject to change at the discretion of the College and/or depending on COVID-19 restrictions. Any changes will be advised to parents and carers via Schoolzine.

If you haven't already signed into Compass, please check your emails for your login details and temporary password. 

Compass is our new platform used for excursion consents and payments, college fees, and reports to name a few.

Reminder to Update Your Child's Information

Please find attached a letter from the College Principal reminding parents and carers to  update their child's information via their Sentral Portal.

Instructions on how to do this are included on the page two of the letter.

If you are currently subscribed to your child's current year groups there is no need to for you to take any action - your subscriptions will automatically be updated for you and will be ready to go at the beginning of the 2024 school year!

If you're not subscribed to your child's year groups it's a great way to filter information the College sends out and ensures you receive only the information that is relevant to your child's education at Lumen Christi.  You can subscribe by:

• Open any Schoolzine email and scroll to the bottom of the email
• Click on the “Manage Profile” link.
• Select your child’s year groups from the list provided
• Select “Update Subscription”

• Tap “Manage” within SZapp
• Select your child’s year groups from the list provided

2024 Vaccination - Save the Dates

Year 10 - 27 February 2024

Year 7 - 4 April 2024

The School Student Broadband Initiative (SSBI) offers free home internet for up to 30,000 unconnected families with school aged students, until the end of December 2025.  This program assists families who may otherwise not be able to afford the service.

Families with school aged children may now self-nominate through the national referral centre, simplifying the process for schools.
