Dear Parents and Carers
The College supports many families in their school needs when this is required. At the end of the school year where you might be sorting uniform that your child has grown out of, please consider donating this to the College so that we may assist others. This can be done via Front Reception.
Many thanks for your consideration.
The Australian Government has launched a campaign called ‘One Talk at a Time’ to prevent child sexual abuse.
‘One Talk at a Time’ aims to help prevent child sexual abuse by encouraging adults to learn about the issue and have ongoing, proactive, preventative conversations with children, young people and other adults. The campaign is aimed at adults with children and young people in their lives.
You might not be an expert in the topic but no one knows the people in your life better than you do. You are the right person to have conversations with children, young people and other adults around you.
Information about the campaign can be found on the Government Website.
https://www.childsafety.gov.au/one-talk-time
It includes information about how you can be a positive influence for the young people in your lives along with where you can find further information and support. There are short explainer videos included on the site that you may see on other media in the future.
