On Schoolzine Week 9 Term 4 2021
As the end of the Semester 2 approaches, we would like advise some important events and end of year arrangements.
Thanksgiving Mass and Liturgy
Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to extend our normal invitation to parents/carers and the wider College community to attend our Thanksgiving Mass. Mass and Liturgy will be held on Friday, 10 December 2021 and will be celebrated as two separate ceremonies due to COVID-19 restrictions. The Mass and Liturgy will mark the conclusion of our Vinnies Christmas Hamper Appeal and celebrate the wonderful achievements of our students and staff, in what has been a difficult year.
Mufti Day
Friday, 10 December 2021 will also be a Mufti Day for students at Lumen Christi. Your child's gold coin donation will mean Vinnies can continue to assist families in need this Christmas. Students should wear covered footwear and modest clothing - no singlets or thongs please. A hat for outdoor classes, recess and lunch will also be required.
Semester 2 Awards Ceremony
Again, due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are unable to extend our normal invitation to parents/carers and the College community to join us for our Semester 2 Awards ceremony to be held on Wednesday, 15 December 2021. Parents and carers of those students receiving awards will receive an email notification prior to the Awards Ceremony.
