Lunchtime Activities 

Every week during lunchtime students in Primary are invited to come along and join in Art Club (Wednesday's) and Chess Club (Friday's). This initiative was first suggested by our 2022 House Captains and has now continued with lots of students attending every week filled with enthusiasm. 

The clubs are a relaxed way that students can interact. Many older children attending the clubs enjoy the chance to mentor and make connections with younger students.

The clubs are student centered and most often they come up with the ideas about what they would like to do. Sometimes this involves them leading the group in origami, drawing and puppet making. This week a group in Art Club painted self portraits, while another group completed landscapes and another painted our German characters "Franzi and Felix". 

Our 2023 House Captains are also coming up with new ideas and initiatives to make student's time at school fun. Please encourage your children to speak with the House Captains and pass on any suggestions.
