Child not feeling well?
Sometimes keeping your child at home can be a difficult decision, but sending a sick child to school can result in a miserable day of learning.
There’s also a very good chance that your child is spreading their illness to their classmates, teachers and staff on College campus.
If your child is feeling unwell, for any reason, please keep your child at home.
If you are concerned about your child falling behind in their studies, please contact their PC teacher who may be able to assist with having work sent home.
COVID-19 and School Attendance
A reminder also that students who attend College with COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home.
If they have the mildest of COVID-19 symptoms, your child should remain at home.
NSW Health have advised COVID-19 symptoms could include:
- fever (37.5 ° or higher)
- cough
- sore throat
- shortness of breath (difficulty breathing)
- runny nose
- loss of taste
- loss of smell.
If you or your child develops any of these symptoms:
- Call your GP in the first instance. By calling your GP before arriving they can take appropriate infection control measures.
- Notify the school.
- In the event of an emergency please dial 000.
