Habits of Mind: Remaining Open to Continuous Learning   

As our class of 2023 graduates this week, I conclude this Habits of Mind series of Shining Lights with this most important of life skills and dispositions, Remaining Open to Continuous Learning . I thank our graduating class and wish them the very best of success in their upcoming HSC Exams.

Being open to continuous learning is a disposition that relies on the understanding that the world is big and there is always something new to know, a better way to do familiar things and alternative perspectives to consider.

Being open to learning keeps our minds fresh and curious. It requires us to ask questions, open dialogues and to form relationships. 

As our graduating class transition from students to alumni, I invite them all to remain connected to Lumen Christi Catholic College and thank them for their many contributions to our great learning community.
